Looking to invest, and double and triple your money? Then land investment in Central America might just be what you?re looking for. But what country is the best one? Is Costa Rica still the best deal, or are there better options?
Well, let?s take a look at the Costa Rican land investment and see how it stacks up against its rivals.
Do you want to be a pioneer?
In property investment you have to make the decision of whether to be pioneer and get in their first, or not.
Remember that numerous pioneers made a killing and were able to make a lot of money, but there were many who followed their lead and were able to get their fair share of adventure.
While Costa Rica does not offer the same totally cheap prices that it did ten years it is still booming and continues to do so. There are benefits to be had when investing in an established market where you can count on good solid gains verses taking your chances on a growing unstable market.
Land investment in Costa Rica have seen average gains of at least 30% per year for 10 years those who have invested in the right place have at least doubled and even tripled their investments quickly. This trend looks as though it will continue.
Looking at the countries of Nicaragua and Honduras and investing there requires a long hard look at the risks. While they are both cheaper there is not the same kind of guarantee of it taking off, or getting the influx of people that Costa Rica has.
The infrastructure of both these countries is not as developed and unless more people come, it will not get better.
Nicaragua is cheap, but has to deal with the Sandinistas. If they were to take over the government, there would not be any support for state ownership by foreigners. What exactly would happen if they were to take control? Are you willing to find out?
Investing in Costa Rica seems the safer bet, while still maintaining a bit of the pioneer spirit, while making greater gains with little risk.
Cheap property is available in many places:
Haiti is one for instance but has more downsides than any positives.
Just because a country has cheap property does not guarantee whether it will turn into an established trend.
Just because some properties cost more, does not mean you will not see an equal or greater profit if the trend is up in prices. Costa Rican investment is looking good, and looks set to maintain the growth for years to come. It?s an investors dream come true, great value and great potential!
Living costs & Infrastructure
While living costs are a bit higher in Costa Rica than other countries you do get what you pay for. The quality of life in Costa Rica is also higher!
Compared to the other countries Costa Rica is actually a rich country, which is reflected in its health care, road amenities and infrastructure.
It is easy to see the depravation in Nicaragua which is surrounded by street kids, starving people and restricted belief system. If you have a problem with the police a just cause is likely to go unnoticed as the police force is mostly corrupt, and can even be jailed for being gay. Not really the environment for investing.
Costa Rica is a country with a good standard of living, a stable and democratic government that is keen on attracting foreign investors and will continue to do more to encourage investment.
Costa Rica land investment
It remains a solid investment and will only continue to increase its potential for greater gains in a market that has already been proven.
Costa Rica
Setting Costa Rica apart from the others is the fact that it has a large expat community, and furthers the closeness of home with amenities and shops similar to those in the US. Development is always expanding and growing, making vacationers feel right at home.
How to get gains
The key to all investment is of course location.
While there are some parts of Costa Rica that are overpriced there are still numerous spots that offer great potential for growth. Buying land where American and foreign investors are creating growth and development is the key to really making your investments soar!
Even though there are new countries vying for investors? attention, Costa Rica is where you?ll find the sound investment. It has a stable environment, strong infrastructure, a proven market and by buying in the right location your property value can exceed all expectations, all while maintaining a relatively low risk!
For the last ten years Costa Rica has been at the top, others have come and gone and will continue to do so, clearly beating all of its other competitors.
